Have you ever had random bursts of happiness for no particular reason?

I tend to get them whilst I’m walking around listening to music. It makes it seems that my life is like a movie with its own soundtrack. Artists include Eminem, Linkin Park, Jay Chou and JJ Lin, with over 100 other cameos.

As soon as I stepped out of the house, I felt it was going to be a good day. Whether or not it turns out to be a good day is another question. But so far it’s been fine.

Went to see the optometrist today (finally after 2 years). My eyesight has gotten worse I’ve realised. Reading street signs have become near impossible. Got my eyesight checked out and it seems that it’s only slightly worse. My right eye hasn’t changed, but my left has :(

I apparently have that problem where the image distorts? Totally forgot the proper medical term.

Anyway, I prescribed a pair of specs but hopefully will only be wearing them when I drive or perhaps also in lectures (damn you IT kids wanting to sit at the back).

Gym has been a lot more fun now that I have a buddy :) It’s not as boring when compared to going by myself.

Macquarie also called me up begging for me to come back. Well, not really begging, but asking me to come back. So I’ll be working on Wednesday (tomorrow) and get to see some lovely people.

Honours is a pain at the moment, not really motivated to do it, I wouldn’t mind working full-time right now but then I’ll miss out all the uni-festivities.

Oh and I’m also now the IT director for USYD’s chopsticks. Attended their first event last weekend and met some extremely cool people.

So yes, next time you’re listening to music, pretend your life is dramatic and walk with purpose. No matter how big of a retard you may look at least inside your head you’re that GUY in that MOVIE.

That’s it for now, heading off the gym and let’s hope my day gets more exciting than sitting in front of my desk working on my honours.
