So much for my 6 hour study plan
May 4th
My study plan for today was….2 hours of psych, 2 hours of software and 2 hours of maths and guess how much I’ve done…

None!
I went to this IBM talk which was a total waste of time AND they didn’t even supply any food 
I know I know, I shouldn’t be going to these talks just for the food (can’t expect everybody to be like google) but it was about careers so I thought what the heck. It was boring but not boring enough for me to doze off. But I did learn some things, which may or may not be valuable later on in life.

Got back at around 3 and then took a nap until 4:30. My dad told me that we’re going to watch the Dragon’s and Panthers match so I agreed. I was so tempted to just say I’m not going considering my psych essay and software AND maths all need to be done. But…it’s rare that we ever go out and do anything so I thought what the heck, might as well go. So I had dinner, took a shower, procrasinated for another 30 minutes before leaving the house. I have to say…whenever I plan on doing work something always crawls up and takes it away from me. The game was okay…I didn’t get too excited, neither was m dad or bro.
Will Zhang invited me to facebook, so in order to see what the hype is all about I decided to sign up as well. It doesn’t hurt right? The thing I dislike about these social sites is that it gradually becomes a race for the most amout of friends…and then…it’s a race for the most amount of girl friends…which then leads to the most amount of HOT girl friends…which then turns up into a orgy fest where you don’t know who you’re adding as your friend until you decide to meet with a girl called Sugarplumes who turns out to be a geriatric making your life a living hell. That’s rather dramatic but it COULD happen.
So yeah…if you read this and don’t have a facebook, go and get one and add me as your friend 
Should I add the friends module to my blog? It seems rather pointless since only 3 people actively blog on my contact list. I should go do some work…

Sometimes you just gotta be yourself and good things begin to occur. If you always expect good things to happen then chances are you’ll only fail miserably.
Sorta reminds me of that "The Neverending Story" episode on ABC where the treant kept on expecting to be rewarded for a good deed and only performed good deeds expecting to be rewarded. Rather selfish.
Sometimes, bad things may not be all that bad and be good. God, I’m just writing what everybody knows already.
Have you ever had that feeling where you’re like "Oh great, not this shit again" only to have an enjoyable experience? I guess the converse occur as well.
Well, an old primary school buddy rang me recently to fix her comp. I guess I was her last hope, and being who I am and doing what I do, I managed to fix her comp allowing her to connect to the internet again…I was being cheap and used "System Restore". In return she put "I love you John. You are my hero" in her nickname and also gave me a Coles Myer gift card. Well…I’ve had the former happen to me before so I wasn’t too phased Here’s an email example…I hope Siobhan doesn’t mind.

I’ve never really expected anything from anyone. Kenny offered me 20 bucks to fix his comp (which I ended up giving back since I didn’t do the job properly), but apart from that I’ve never really gotten anything. I guess I’m making a big deal over this but heh, I’m feeling rather special
I just tend to get this good feeling inside knowing that I’ve helped a newb. Funnily, only girls show any signs of appreciation. Guys are usually like "Thanks man". But I know deep down they too want to Pro-Bono me.
